My Meta Farm just held our AMA with the DAVA Project with over 200 participants from the community members of both projects. This event was a great opportunity for My Meta Farm and DAVA Project to have been able to share more details about the project with interested and supportive citizens.

My Meta Farm thanks everyone’s enthusiastic and wonderful questions. For those who missed this AMA or want to know what happened, this article is a complete recap of the best Q&A at this AMA.

Overview of content

First, to open the AMA session, the representative from My Meta Farm – Mr. Trieu Nguyen – CPO (Chief Product Officer) along with Mr. Jimmy Kim – Head of Outbound DAVA Project – Say hello to all event participants as well as states the reason for the AMA.

Accordingly, the purpose of the AMA has the following contents:

1. Both projects will briefly describe itself

2. Q&A #1: They chose 3 questions for DAVA and 2 for My Meta Farm to share the answer

3. Mr. Trieu Nguyen and Mr. Jimmy Kim chose some questions from the audience to answer.

The format of the last AMA was a discussion led and took place on the Discord platform.

1st Segment: Introduction

About Mr. Trieu Nguyen: “Thank you everyone for joining us today, my name is Trieu Nguyen, and I am a CPO (Chief Product Officer) at My Meta Farm, a Web3 Metaverse. I’m more focused on building products and also making sure that all comments and feedback of users will be recorded and updated in the product in the most reasonable way”.

About Mr. Jimmy Kim: “Hey y’all. I’m Blocksage, in charge of the outbound team from DAVA. DAVA is set to release our new game DAVA ETERNAL on September 22, and I am here to introduce you to DAVA and DAVA Eternal! Glad to be here.”

About DAVA Project, according to the words of Mr. Jimmy Kim, “DAVA is an on-chain, customizable NFT that allows you to decorate your avatar, unlike other NFTs, freely”.

As the image above, it is a platform where players can customize their PFP with other NFTs to create their own NFT. He also said: “We did our 10K minting last November, and now we are developing the game layer on top of this system”.

And, to introduce more about the game, he showed a deck-building rouge-like game as picture below:

To explain more, he shared: “I’m sure a lot of gamers out there know games like these. You basically select five characters with stats and skills as shown in the image, place them in the appropriate cabin, and proceed with the battle in the form of a card game. And we are trying out something exciting: to split play-and-earn to bring a more sustainable token economy to the crypto game scene”. About the background of DAVA, Mr. Jimmy Kim shared: “We have been web3 builders since 2017, building projects ranging from web3 apps to NFT projects. Our background consists of multiple domains, including games, platforms, apps, etc. In short, we are product specialists building new shiny things in web3. (To have small additional info, UNOPND is the team connecting both projects My Meta Farm and DAVA).

About the beginning of DAVA, “DAVA is the world’s first project with a fully functioning on-chain wearable system that can be used interoperably throughout other on-chain games, metaverse, etc… We felt the need that customizable NFT is required for mass adoption of NFT and to prove it, we decided to build a game layer on top of our avatar layer. DAVA Eternal is going to be our first use-case to demonstrate how our DAVA NFT is utilized through the game universe”, said Mr. Jimmy Kim. 

He also said: “But one thing I’m sure all of you are curious about is: If you split play-and-earn in a web3 game, how can you earn? One of the biggest features of DAVA ETERNAL is that you can organize and deploy your NFTs into monster units in DAVA ETERNAL games, which feature we released yesterday: https://goldan.davaproject.com/. Moreover, everyone can pre-registration is in progress with this link and they can use the My Meta Farm early access code for future benefits and prizes.

About My Meta Farm, Mr. Trieu Nguyen said shared: “To share with some fellows who don’t know about us, My Meta Farm is supposed to be a beautiful world contributed by users, and it brings users the best experience of gaming entertainment, socializing, and creativeness. In this mirror world, creativity is encouraged via house design, land design, and fashion design. Inspired by successful projects like The SandBox, Decentraland, Animal Crossing, our project is becoming a colorful unlimited map with excellent 3D graphics. We provide tools for citizens to design, support users in making digital assets and provide a marketplace for commercializing these products. Besides, various exciting games, events, and exhibitions in this virtual world make players stay in the Metaverse ”. 

And, he also said that in the future (Expected to be publicly tested in late September or early October), you will experience the first version of the battle royale game mode, a feature that allows players to show off their skills and ingenuity.

Mr. Trieu Nguyen shared about the development team of My Meta Farm: “We are a very dynamic and talented team with more than 50 members in many different fields. The product team is formed by core members of Eastfog Studio, with more than 13 years of experience, and is one of the famous game development teams in Vietnam. Previous products of Eastfog Studio received quite a lot of positive feedback on the Steam platform. In addition, other aspects of the project are also fully covered by other experienced members, especially with support from s6k Labs (also our incubator), one of the leading blockchain solution and product development teams in Vietnam”.

And, about the beginning of My Meta Farm, Mr. Trieu Nguyen shared: “You may have seen that we have shared in some other talks, My Meta Farm is inspired by Animal Crossing, one of the very successful web2.0 open-world products, receiving a lot of attention from players over the years. However, with the desire to access new technology and give full ownership of content (avatar, fashion items, real estate, ..) to users, we have taken advantage of blockchain tech to make My Meta Farm become a product that not only attracts a lot of user interest but is also completely decentralized, where users actually own their digital assets”.

To help everyone know more about the demo game of each project, both representatives showed the demo of DAVA as well as shared about the new feature of My Meta Farm.

2nd Segment: Questions from the Community

Question 1 for DAVA: “ I’m new to play2earn games, can you explain the “Ponzi-less” term in your Twitter profile? 

Mr. Jimmy Kim: “This is a good question. So the DAVA project consists of Web3 Game and Web2 Game. First, if you want to have fun, you can enter for early access to DAVA Eternal. Secondly, if you want to earn, you can enter the Goldan INC to create monsters that will be used in the DAVA Eternal game. For games to be ponzi-less, game users should be able to make payments based on the intrinsic value that the game provides, so by separating the core values, within these two users. We believe we can build a non-ponzi protocol in which one side generates content for the consumer side making it sustainable. 

Question 2 for My Meta Farm: Congratulations on being shortlisted for the Future Game Award at TGS2022! Various partnerships have been announced so far, but are there any plans to partner with projects in Japan?

Mr. Trieu Nguyen: “Before answering this question, I want to thank you for always following and supporting us. We are trying every day to share the image and voice of My Meta Farm with the communities. We are also very happy and honored to be one of the projects listed in the Future Blockchain Game Award at the Tokyo Blockchain Game Awards 2022. 

About connecting with other projects, especially in Japan. We are currently in the process of discussing with several partners, especially the Japanese Polygon Guild (which is great because the first NFT collections of MMF are issued on Polygon). In the short term, we will have an AMA session with them in the near future (specifically at the end of this month, you can register to follow the AMA here) and some follow-up community development activities (there will certainly be a lot of attractive rewards)”.

Question 3 for DAVA: In general, most Play to Earn games are very simple and have no challenges. In other words, it can be boring to play. What tools does davaprojectNFT add to make games attractive and keep users bored and stuck in DAVA Project NFT? 

Mr. Jimmy Kim: “Yes, in our game, since the monsters are mostly created by users, all the monsters basically have different ‘AIs’ (because people change the skill combo and strategies to gain more earnings). And, it is not going to be easy. You will have to work hard to complete the game. Moreover, the challenging aspect of this deck-building card game will attract many users who enjoy playing challenging card games”. 

Question 4 for My Meta Farm: What are your plans for keeping the My Meta Farm community engaged?

Mr. Trieu Nguyen: “Our team has a lot of interesting ideas like designing a super big cute Racoon, holding contests, challenging community, leaderboard, question of the day, gameshow… and so on. Recently, we have prepared a lot of other things in the development of the metaverse, so we haven’t succeeded in delivering many of the above things. But we can assure you that shortly, there will be many exciting things coming in our community. Above are some illustrated plans. 

Question 5 for DAVA: What game did you think was amazing? You promised to make fun games. 

Mr. Jimmy Kim: “I think Slay the Spire, and the FTL game is awesome, go check them out guys, then you can find them on steam. If you liked those games, DAVA eternal is going to be awesome for you too. 

3rd Segment: Live Questions 

Question 1:#DAVA I saw an article about using unused NFTs in WP to capture the game. Can the NFT be from that chain?

Mr. Jimmy Kim: “I would like to address that for our CBT (Closed beta test) the hunter feature is open to Polygon, Eth, and Klaytn network we are planning to scale into all L1, L2. where there is NFT, there is DAVA Hunter. For now, Polygon, Klaytn, and Eth.

Question 2: How do I get a My Meta Farm Early Access Code?

Mr. Jimmy Kim: “You can check here is the link, sir. You click that link and the Early Access code is already pre-filled! But just in case you’ve missed it, it’s My Meta Farm.

Question 3: I heard about the new game in My Meta Farm, Battle Royale Magic. Which events or key features do you have to attract new players? And will it be a P2E game?

Mr. Trieu Nguyen: “We will hold many events at the time of the release of the game. We expect to have airdrops with a signature NFTs wizard collection. The key feature of Battle Royale Magic will be interesting and interactive gameplay, with PvE and PvP modes. One more thing, we will have the leaderboard, where top players can receive points which they can use in the Metaverse.  

It won’t be the straight kind of P2E, but “Play and Earn”, where Play is the main word. But we will release the beta test and still expect to add a lot of features in the future and hope our users will give us suggestions or feedback. We are sincerely open to listening to our players.

Question 4: So far you haven’t released tokens and don’t sell lands or NFTs, how will you make money?

Mr. Trieu Nguyen: “We have an interesting business model, where we can be a platform for traditional players and crypto users. Every side can find attractive points for them. We can use our Metaverse and the platform for cross-marketing, advertising, collaborations, and events for partnership with other businesses such as a B2B model. Also, MMF is a creative web3 platform where users can trade with each other, invest, create and design their ASSETS. Be assured of the security of their assets and data. 

We also plan to release tokens, but only when our product is completed, and our community will be strong enough. We hope for all your support in the future”.

The last question: Can I get the rewards?

We just held our first AMA with the ForN Gaming Guild with over 100 citizens participating. Those were great moments for us because My Meta Farm had the opportunity to share more details about the project with those who cared and supported us.

Host: Hello, please introduce yourself.

Trieu Nguyen: Hello everyone, first of all, I would like to thank the management team and the FGG community for giving me the opportunity to join you at the AMA today.

My name is Trieu Nguyen, CPO (Chief Product Officer) at My Meta Farm. I come from very passionate computer technology as well as product development. I have researched blockchain since 2016 when the market still has quite a few blockchain applications (dApps). I started my journey in the blockchain field by prioritizing deep research into technology, community supporting, and contributing development strategies to projects up to the time before participating in the construction of My Meta Farm. 

I’ve worked on over ten projects, big and small. In addition, I also had the opportunity to become an advisor for some Blockchain application contests in universities.

Thanks to those experiences, I was able to summarize and apply a lot of development strategies to My Meta Farm. It’s not only in terms of building products but also in taking care of the community as one of my top priorities.

Host: Can you give us an overview of the My Meta Farm project?

Trieu Nguyen: My Meta Farm is a beautiful world contributed by users. And it brings users the best experience of gaming entertainment, socializing, and creativeness.

In this world, creativity is encouraged via house design, land design, and fashion design. Like the success of The Sand Box, Decentraland, Animal Crossing, our project is becoming a colorful unlimited map with excellent 3D graphics. We provide tools for people to design, support users in making digital assets, and provide a marketplace for commercializing these products. 

Besides, there are various exciting games, events, and exhibitions in this virtual world, which make players stay in Metaverse.

Host: Woah, that sounds great! Can you tell us about your team, partners, and investors?

Trieu Nguyen: I am very proud every time I share about the development team of My Meta Farm. We are a very dynamic and talented team with more than 50 members in many different fields. I will give you a quick introduction to the core members of My Meta Farm:

• Our CEO, Mr. Thanh Le, Founder/CEO of EastFog Studios – one of the pioneers in the early indie game development movement in Vietnam since 2009. He is a huge dream-chaser especially interested and deeply focused on game quality as well as gamer experience. He is also the initiator of the movement-making games on Steam, bringing famous Vietnamese games into the international playground.

• Mr. Tung Nguyen – Co-Founder/CTO of EastFog Studios, together with Mr. Thanh, is one of the pioneers in the movement of making high-quality 3D games on PC and Steam. With over 8 years of experience in the field of Game – Web and Database programming. His strength is specializing in system design for high-quality game series (PC/Mac/Linux, Console, WebGL). Tung has been involved in the Windy Kingdom project since the very beginning. He has always shared the same vision of creating a game world where there is no gap between creativity and breaking down barriers between the real world and the virtual world.

• Mr. Son Vu – COO at My Meta Farm, growing with technical background and MBA. He has experienced the Junior Management program of Bosch, and contributed to Vinfast’s global projects of the electric vehicle. After gaining a Bachelor of Law and PMP qualification, he collected experience of projects in Germany, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, before following the growth map of metaverse enthusiasts. Mr. Son has a vision that Metaverse will become a vital application for human life before 2030. His ability in languages, management, as well as platform technology execution has become an important piece of My Meta Farm.

Host: How does this project differ from other BCG projects?

Trieu Nguyen: A very interesting question. We built My Meta Farm not simply to create a unique product or brand new concept, but we want to build a platform that can serve the most users as well as solve the most pain points that the user needs.

More specifically, My Meta Farm has strengths that make us confident to stand out in the market.

• An endless entertainment metaverse platform: Coming to My Meta Farm, users not only experience a simple game product, but they can also participate in the extremely attractive applications of My Meta Farm including: Minigames, Battle Royale, Farming, Social Platform, exploring the huge open-world… In addition, we always encourage game studios to join in building products and support them to operate on the My Meta Farm’s platform. More specifically, users only need to use ONLY ONE account (character) to experience them all.

• Spaces dedicated to clubs/fan clubs: Not only a place for entertainment, but My Meta Farm also has very special areas for clubs to hold events, celebrities can meet, and share with their fans.

• Enhancing creativeness: We provide very user-friendly and powerful tools to enable creatives to unleash their full potential. Not only that, those masterpieces can become NFT with just a few clicks and they can easily transfer them to friends or monetize by selling them on My Meta Farm’s in-house marketplace.

• Physical NFTs: At My Meta Farm, we will be releasing unique item collections. At that time, the user not only owns NFT items (which their character can use in all My Meta Farm products) but they can also redeem a physical product corresponding to that NFT. Host: Could you tell us about your project Roadmap?

Trieu Nguyen: We are very happy to receive a lot of love from the community, as well as support from partners and investors. My Meta Farm is growing very fast and much ahead of schedule.

Part 2: Questions from the Community

Question 1: Will you release the mobile version for Android or IOS?

Trieu Nguyen: Our development team realized that: in order to attract as many users as possible, the product had to be user-friendly. Moreover, it also be usable on as many devices as possible, and accessible anywhere…. Therefore, for the final version, My Meta Farm will release on devices including Windows, macOS, Android, and IOS.

During last month’s MVP release, we released the app that can be used on Windows and macOS devices.

Currently, we are developing and optimizing products for mobile operating systems such as Android and IOS. In the next release, users can easily access My Meta Farm right on a personal computer or mobile.

Question 2: At the video event the other day, I received a Korean costume. When I minted it, it was marked as rare. What is this rare? When the MMF game starts, will it be an enhancement element that increases attack power or makes rare crops?

Trieu Nguyen: First of all, I would like to thank for your active participation in our last event! Also, we would like to congratulate you on being one of the winners of the Hanbok NFT.

The NFT item system of My Meta Farm is very diverse in design and usage. Therefore, we use labels to represent the rarity of the items. Specifically, depending on the rarity, the items will have different QUANTITY and FUNCTIONALITY. You can see more rarity classifications at: https://docs.mymetafarm.com/features/nft. 

For the traditional costumes of the countries, the number of NFTs created is very limited (less than 200). At the same time, there will be features for users who own these NFTs. Furthermore, in different minigames/games, items will have different add-ons for the holder.

Question 3: How can you ensure the long-term survival and stability of the in-game economic system? Many recent games have failed due to the general drop in the market or because the ROI is short, and NFT does not burn. What measures will you use to ensure the game’s long-term longevity?

Trieu Nguyen: My Meta Farm will not develop as a simply GameFi, but instead, we are building a bigger platform. Therefore, the economic system of the platform has been calculated in great detail by the talented members of the product strategy team. We also receive advice from financial experts with more than 15 years of experience in accounting and finance practice, and risk management…

More specifically, we won’t be too focused on developing under the play-to-earn model that has proven unstable. Instead, enhancing user experience, stimulating demand for item ownership, and adding more services to increase liquidity for the NFTs/token system is seen as our long-term development goal.

You can take a look at the image below to understand better one of the ways we create demand for the $MMF and NFTs/tokens. Unlike most products on the market, we will share the revenue of the product with the community who are actually building the project.

Question 4: Are there any attractive perks for having an Honored Citizen Card? What are the advantages of being an early supporter? 

Trieu Nguyen: We always give the greatest respect to the members who support the project, especially the early supporters. Because they are the important factors that help My Meta Farm develop as it is today as well as the premise for the product to go further. 

To acknowledge this gratitude, we have been giving favors to supporters such as a role in the Discord server to make you special. You can join a private room to directly exchange, share and receive the earliest information from the development team. Finally, supporters will be given priority in My Meta Farm programs/events and will be given limited NFTs (including an Honored Citizen Card).

For the Honored Citizen Card, holders have and will receive a lot of privileges from the project. You will be the first to experience the latest product updates. In the future, you will also be whitelisted for the project’s special token or NFTs sales. And yeah, there will be more Airdrops!

Question 5: Compared to the roadmap, it seems to be a bit pushed, but when will the game be released and tokens are actually listed?

Trieu Nguyen: As mentioned in the previous section, My Meta Farm has achieved many significant developments and far exceeded the original expectations. At the same time, we always respect the market and always change to meet the latest, most essential needs of users. Therefore, the team has determined in the development roadmap of My Meta Farm to release the full version in mid-early 2023 (meanwhile, there will certainly be more public testing versions to come).

Regarding the token launch, we want to focus on developing a strong community and a good product so that once the tokens are distributed. The demand for them will always be high as well as the investment value will always be guaranteed. At the moment, we are in discussions with leading exchanges to ensure that the $MMF token will be listed on popular, highly liquid, accessible CEXs.

Final Segment: Live Questions 

Question 1: I was able to play soccer with MVP but it was pretty laggy and didn’t play the game properly. Can this be done with less lag?

Trieu Nguyen: Currently, the MVP version of My Meta Farm is a basic version that is considered the first that we release to the community. Although we know that there will be a lot of bugs, lags… but we want the community to experience it together from the very first day and share your feedback with us. 

In the coming versions, we will improve a lot in terms of performance as well as more devices that can play My Meta Farm.

Question 2: Will there be tokens other than $MMF tokens in the future?

Trieu Nguyen: We will only issue ONE token, $MMF, and all the development of My Meta Farm products (including Metaverse World, minigames, built-in games, and MMF services) will be paid in $MMF. We want to optimize the utility of the token, and the demand for the $MMF token will always be high.

Question 3: Will the PVP combat system be like an MMO?

Trieu Nguyen: I can reveal a little about the upcoming feature of My Meta Farm. That’s right, in the near future, you will experience the PvP feature, where players can freely compete with friends. Those with high skill (or practice) will have a higher chance to win. And sure, there will be plenty of rewards in this feature. 

Question 4: What are the plans for co-op play with other players?

Trieu Nguyen: In the future, you will have the opportunity to play with other players. As for the co-op feature, we’ve planned some game modes that enhance teamwork. However, there will be many surprises waiting for you ahead!

Question 5: There has been a lot of project lag pulls and exit scams lately. Why should investors trust your project if they don’t want to do the same?

Trieu Nguyen: Our project is a passionate project inspired by Animal Crossing, especially combined by s6K Labs and EastFog Studio – A long-standing and reputable game publisher and blockchain company in the market.
