Hola, last weekend was a lovely day, and the My Meta Farm team was involved in an exciting event related to the Blockchain community. That is the Vietnam NFT Summit 2022 event held by the Vietnam Blockchain Association in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Vietnam NFT Summit 2022 was a large-scale event that attracted more than 2,500 delegates, including ministries, businesses, investment funds, individuals, and organizations domestically and internationally. Here, experts and managers exchanged, discussed as well as shared experiences about the development of Blockchain technology in Vietnam.

The appearance of Mr. Changpeng Zhao

As the highlight of this event, Binance CEO – Changpeng Zhao has attracted much attention. The head of one of the largest virtual currency exchanges in the world said that Blockchain is a new technology for the digital economy.

Changpeng Zhao (commonly known as CZ) is the founder of Binance. Binance is well-known as the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. Before that, he was also a member of the Blockchain.info development team and served as the chief technology officer of OKCoin.

Changpeng Zhao shared that how countries apply this technology today will profoundly impact the future of that country’s economy in particular and the world in general. More and more countries show their determination to apply Blockchain technology to life. However, according to Mr. Changpeng Zhao, countries, including Vietnam, need clear legal regulations so that Blockchain can be applied in every corner of life, not just cryptocurrency, Defi, or NFT…

In addition, Vietnam NFT Summit also has networking activities between organizations and communities passionate about learning about Blockchain and have the opportunity to exchange and share. My Meta Farm just took part in the Vietnam blockchain industry forum. This is the event co-hosted by Huobi Global and OneBlock Labs drew to a successful close on May 28. This is leading experts from Huobi Global and various fields of the Vietnamese blockchain industry. In addition, This also is having avidly discussed the finer points of the journey toward Web3 and the Metaverse.

“The Road to Web3.0 & Metaverse Mass Adoption” is the forum comprised fireside chats, panel discussions, and audience Q&A. More than 500 people participated in the event.

Fifteen guests participated in the event, including Samuel Tang, Senior Director for Business Development at Huobi Global; Leon Truong, Vice President of the Association of Financial Advisors; Cuong Tran, Co-Founder of K300 Ventures; Trung Anh Nguyen, Co-Founder TheCoinDesk, and Cris D Tran, Managing Director of Viet Nam Startup Investment Fund. Last but not least, Mr. Tuan Tran, Co-Founder of Starpunk and the game project My Meta Farm, also attended as the speaker of the forum.

Stories and expectations at the forum

Samuel Tang opened the event by sharing Huobi’s outlook and development plan in Vietnam. “Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency markets, and also one of the 10 largest markets in the world. Established in 2013, Huobi is one of the leading digital asset trading platforms in the world. Huobi’s most outstanding achievements are its security, liquidity, and stability.” he said.

To boost growth in Vietnam’s blockchain market, Huobi Incubator has established a US$ 10 million incubation fund to discover and support emerging developers and projects in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and beyond.”

Samuel Tang also said: “The crypto market is rapidly growing in Vietnam. As the world’s leading blockchain and crypto-asset company, Huobi sees the Vietnamese market as an important component of its global expansion plans. We believe our expertise in the blockchain field will greatly support the development of the blockchain technology community and innovative projects in Vietnam.”

During the first panel, Samuel Tang and four other panelists discussed metaverse mass adoption and speculated on just when the Web3 experience will make its way into our day-to-day routines.
