Following Alpha Test 2, to celebrate a special event, Lunar New Year, My Meta Farm will continue to launch “Costume Design Contest“. Read this article for more details!
Information about the contest
Content: Designing a traditional costume called Ao Dai by using the Item Maker feature of My Meta Farm. You can use Item Maker’s tools to design textures for an NFT your way (Instructions on how to use Item Maker here). We will find the best works according to specific criteria.
How to join:
Step 1: Enter THIS LINK.
Step 2: Login to Item Maker with your My Meta Farm account.
Step 3: Choose “ITEM EDITOR“.
Step 4: Choose the Ao Dai NFT and click “Choose an item to edit” to start your design.
NOTE: When you’re done, click here to save your texture file.
How to submit:
Participants will submit designs in 3 steps:
Step 1: Take a picture and save the texture file of your design.
Step 2: Post your design on your Twitter with the hashtag #LunarNewYear2023 #MMFdesigncontest.
Step 3: Submit your picture, texture file and the Twitter link via a Google Form during submission time.
Participants: Everyone is welcome to participate (as long as you have a My Meta Farm account).
Reward:
The contest has 2 reward categories:
- THE BEST DESIGN is chosen by a combination of community vote (50%) and the My Meta Farm team (50%).
- THE FAVORITE DESIGN for the design with the most votes from the community.
Both winners’ designs will be turned into official NFTs, minted into 100 items. The winners will get to 1 own their NFT design and 1 NFT designed by the other winner. The rest for sale as mystery boxes to the community. Both winners will also receive additional rewards (to be determined).
Additionally, as a thank you to the attendees, we are giving 10 slot machine tickets to each participant and 5 slot machine tickets for each voter in Phase 2.
Timeline:
- Submission time: From 9:00 AM (UTC) on January 17th, 2023 to 9:00 AM (UTC) on January 30th, 2023.
- Voting time is divided into 2 phases:
Phase 1: 9:00 AM (UTC) on January 17th, 2023 – 9:00 AM (UTC) on February 2nd, 2023
Post your design on Twitter with the hashtag #LunarNewYear2023 #MMFdesigncontest. Calling everyone to Retweet, Like, and Reply to your Tweet.
Score scale to calculate:
- +1 for Retweet
- +1 for Like
- +1 for Reply
Then, submit your texture with your Twitter link via a Google Form to choose THE FAVORITE DESIGN award.
Phase 2: February 2nd, 2023 – February 6th, 2023
My Meta Farm will choose the 10 best designs (Don’t coincide with the ones with the highest engagement) for users to vote on our website to choose THE BEST DESIGN award.
- Winner announcement time: February 7th,2023.

1. To ensure fairness, each eligible user can only vote once.
2. This serves as an incentive for users to take part in the voting process and to encourage more participation.
3. Providing your information in the form will be counted as a participant in this contest.
4. Please try to submit good-quality photos!
5. My Meta Farm has the only and last decision on how an award’s eligibility.
